Pedal-Cab Agency License
A pedal-cab agency is any person engaged in the business of transporting persons for hire by means of one or more than one pedal-cab.
A pedal-cab is a multi-wheeled, hooded or unhooded vehicle that is propelled solely by a pedal-cab driver, is used in the transport of passengers and is available for hire on the public streets.

Fees and Payment
- Annual license fee: $110
- Late renewal fee: $55
- Duplicate license fee: $5
Pedal-Cab Licenses are valid for one (1) year from the date of issuance or renewal.
The City Clerk's Office accepts cash, check, money order, Visa and MasterCard.
Required Documents
- Proof of age over eighteen (18)
- Valid Colorado Driver's License
- Business License Application
- Certificate of Commercial General Liability Insurance with the City of Colorado Springs listed as the certificate holder ($1,000,000)
- Workers' Compensation and Employers' Liability Insurance with the City of Colorado Springs listed as the certificate holder ($100,000)
- Bodily Injury Insurance. Bodily injury for limits not less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) each person, three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000.00) each accident, and property damage fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) for each occurrence. Coverage shall include owned, un-owned and hired pedal-cabs.

- Trade Name Registration and Certificate of Good Standing with Colorado Secretary of State, if applicable.

Pedal-Cab Driver License
A pedal-cab driver is any person who drives a pedal-cab, including an agency, an employee of an agency or any person who stands in the relationship of independent contractor to an agency.
